well sleep good my friend, my problems are resolved ive jailbroke a console or two, and i never had anything like that happen. the kmeaw CFW was downgrading me to 3.15 xD. the crazy thing was i used the same PUP to upgrade straight to 3.55 CFW (as a matter of fact i didnt even take the thumb drive out of the console)

Alright cause alot of people are not getting this.

To get this to work you must first install Gitbrews OtherOS++Special CFW, this CFW has the initial flag information already written into the system. This CFW is to avoid having to install Linux and actually write the flag to the system. Then once you have the modified version of OtherOS++Special CFW installed, then install the QA Flag.pkg on the system. Then run the app that it installed. It is a PSL1ghtV1 app named QA flag. When running your system will beep twice and relaunch XMB. Then hold down the controller combo on the "Network Settings" option. You will then see a new drop down.

A few things to note: (1) If you have already activated PSN/DLC make sure before hand that you have backed up your act.dat file and reg file. This Flag pkg will deactivate your PSN/DLC, those files will need to be restored.

(2) This will not enable PSN nor is it ment to run any form of non-official signed apps, (aka Multiman, etc). The package file install option that appears is for signed sony apps. Plus the option itself only detects the first pkg file on the root of a thumbstick.

(3) This will not allow upgrading and keeping the flag information. The flag if upgraded will not function, and you will of severely ****** your opportunity for CFW. This can however allow downgrading via XMB to older firmware. NOTE: Most people can only go back to whatever was stock on the system. I would not recommend in trying to go back further than what your system had.

(4) This does have the ability to possibly run WAREZ on PSN content. Via the Debug NPDRM and NP environment, with using the install package content option in the QA. NOTE: This has not been confirmed. Nor will it probably never be due to the risk of possible law suites.

(5) This is mostly beneficial to DEVS and people who want to have non service mode downgrading.

Also be patient we have had this QA for a very short period of time. And this isn't even the advanced flag, this is still the basic flag. We don't know the full potential. And you can keep the flag by going back to a alternative 3.55 CFW.

EVERYTIME I GO TO UPDATE TO INSTAL THE CFW-SPEICAL PUP KEEP GETTING ERROR NO APPLICABLE UPDATE WAS FOUND.I HAVE CREATED A FOLDER CALLED PS3- UPDATE - AND THEN RENAMED THE CFWPUP TO PS3UPDAT.PUP WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

doesnt the npdrm debug render all the psn apps useless? or is that the liscence degub option?

i have no issues with my DLC i have the entire monkey island psn collection and its works with and without the npdrm

Just asking, will there EVER be a hack/jailbreak for 3.60 and up (I have 3.61)? I want to know because otherwise I'm willing to sell my PS3 and buy another one that either has 3.55 or is already jailbroken...

Of course there will but it takes timeIf they released a cfw now then sony would just make another update before HUGE games like Deus Ex come out etc, HOLD TIGHT, good things come to those who waitI have a copy of alice i bought from amazon sat here waiting here for me and my mrs to play but that doesnt mean im going to update my firmware, i have patience you see

im fixing to have a fat ps3 620 gb hd loaded with games and PSN games, along with the emulators and a huge collection of roms.

if you want to you can get first dibs on it. what would you consider paying for something like this?

i having promblems when i go into recovery i get to the screen saying connect controller using usb, then press the ps button and the lights keeps flashing on the controller can someone please help me
