Yes it does. If the disc backup version is higher than the update it will load the disc. If the update version is higher than the disc it will load the update. Check the version on your disc backups - drop them down to 01.00

that didnt work either, and now error code changed to 80028F21

only by DEX that i know.

still kind of lost on my problem, what is the correct proccedure to use these patches from TB cfw?

-installed kmeaw over TB
-installed sen enabler 4.21 spoof
-installed update files
-replaced fixed eboot/param
-launch via app or disc

i even updated multiman and changed original params to 1.00 like bahumant suggested

yup, even checked versions on game options and all.

i think this new error is the games trying to run with the eboot on the game instead of the patch(that is a TB eboot) dragon dogma at least launches but goes back to XMB because i also used the fix for the base game, but for games like ace combat theres only the patch fix for kmeaw.

i read some stuff on a topic about the dark souls fix, maybe i can get somewhere after i try these patches/methods, im guessing i need original eboots on my games.

ok, dark souls is now working

it seems to be a problem with the region of the game, game info on multiman showed i had the BLUS version, but i named my folder BLES for some reason after i downloaded it, after instaling the patch with the fix for the bles, it launched, same happens with dragon dogma for example, i remember TB fixes didnt care for BLES or BLUS, but for example Dirt 3 is showing BLES on both but still doesnt start.

*edit, dark souls does launch, but its all glitched, cant attack or change items, enemies doesnt attack, fog gates locking some entraces, etc. i dont know what the hell is going on.

btw, where does multiman takes the ID below the boxart? not from the param since the param on the game now is a bles and still shows blus.

i switched back to kmew CFW 3.55 to test sum of these eboots released by NODRM..only tested dmc hd collection and ninja gaiden sigma 3..and none works..as u said, in multiman, it shows version 50.00..hw to change back to 1.00?? i am still nt able to make these NODRM patches to make it work for my cfw 3.55

I followed the instructions for MGS HD collection here:

download and install the update pkg from the link below
replace included files in /dev_hdd0/game/BLES01419 directory.

But I get : Unsupported data. This disc cannot be supported. Please help I've been waiting to play MGS3 forever.

as for me, not everyone non-updated game worked, blazblue goes into a black screen on the startup, dirt showroom infinite loading at startup, for example, i think im switching back to TB cfw for the time being, i guess these patch still or may even work better there.

Read my Quote below. You don't have to make the PKG install but the file structure is correct. Delete the Update data and restart

Check the TitleID in the PS3_DISC.SFB file is correct. This could be the issue, maybe. Just an idea.
