Rules for Code Submitting
Here goes the do's and the no-no's...
- When submitting a code be sure that the code is not found anywhere else. (GSCCC, Code Junkies, GameShark or here)
- If the code is a conversion be sure to check that it ain't converted already.
- If your code has something to do with nudity, or online cheating please PM GMO, routine_error, Migictrio or me of course. We will discuss it there.
- We don't do code trades here, codes are made to be used by everyone, with few exceptions.
- If you post non-sense it will be removed, no warning.
- Be sure that the codes work, before posted.
- The Code Submitter will receive full credit for the code posted.
- Stick to the rules, and you may get a happy meal...

Does this apply to codes that you posted yourself on 1 or all of these sites?

Absolute posted around 6 items on the CB board and no one else hacked or posted the rest of the items on AtLTofS game. I have posted the codes that I hacked(more like entered, and tested)(hit and miss method) and posted Absolutes to put the codes in order. I give him the credit. I have posted CB codes on GSCC and the GS2v2 AR2v2 codes after converting, on CJ. I just want to share the codes with anybody who wants to use them, without causing friction. And I do want to be a better hacker for the PS2. Seriously. Have alot of time on my hands.

What about codes that used to be available on other websites but were taken down?
For example, let's say there was a working code on codejunkies, but the admins deleted the code. Further more, Datel blocked out the ability to enter this code manually on the latest AR Max, and I made a .max save that gets around that?

Haven't you ever heard of "Action Replay", "GameShark", or "CodeBreaker" etc... ?
With those programs you can select cheat 'codes' for a game before launching the game disc. Part of the 'cheater' program remains resident in RAM while the game starts, and patches the memory content while the game is running. This can have all kinds of effects, such as changing the variables that hold important parameters for the game (eg: the amount of money you have in an RPG), and in some cases it can even change the program code of the game (though such codes are VERY tricky to create).
Once someone has created such 'codes' they can be shared here, or on the other internet sites mentioned above, so that anyone can use them without having to go to the trouble of making their own codes (which the average gamer couldn't manage).
Best regards: dlanor
