In more better news today, XorLoser has released his updated XorHack - For those that can fully understand PPC coding, and want to play around dumping memory, and disassembling key parts of the PS3 brain.
Quote:
After using the XorHack for a while I realised it was missing some things so I decided it was time for an update. New syscalls have been added to give finer control over data access, now providing 8, 16, 32 and 64 bit reads and writes. Also some new ioctls were added to provide additional useful functions for your userland code. Lastly new userland applications were added which now give the ability to read, write and execute memory from the command line
After a long silent period from his last post. Geohot has made a new posting on his blog, with just a single picture:

Finally Sony has picked the name for their new Motion Controller. Dropping the previous codename "Arc" and going for the name "MOVE". It will also come with an "sub-controller" which looks much like a Wii Nunchuk.
You will also need to own the EyeToy to make use of the MOVE, and Sony promises to you will be able purchase the new controller without the EyeToy, for those that already own it, and also that a complete bundle with EyeToy, MOVE, Sample Game will be packaged for under $100 this up coming Fall season.
Sony is calling their new controller which was showcased with some new games at this week's 2010 Games Developer Conference as "A more precise, immersive, and responsive game experience", and they plan on hitting it hard on the ad budget to kill any possible marketshare which might be taken up by the new Microsoft Natal project, and to put a dent into Nintendo's Money Printing Machines.
For more in-depth of the Move, you can watch the 45-minute GDC demo:

Sony PSPhone rumors are back yet again, this time being reported by the WSJ (normally they are not wrong), that Sony is ready to battle Apple, and is planning on releasing products likes a "Playstation Phone", and also a "netbook" to go against the iPAD and iPHONE.
Sony doesn't like losing. That's why the company has decided to go all in and bring a real "PlayStation" phone to market. According to those in the know, the smartphone from Sony will be able to access downloadable games, movies and music, just like the iPhone.
