i have a ps2 V30003R [the one with the diff, laser],i had a prob, booting cd-r's so i tweaked the pot under the laser very slighty,as least as poss, and they all booted np.but,i couldnt find a diagram of this particular laser as its different so i was unsure which was the dvd pot and which was the cd-r pot.after asking for weeks in diff, forums with no joy i decided to tweak,which i thought was the cd-r pot but moved the dvd instead.
i know its a bitch to get right and dont have access to a occelliscope nor the money to sort it out.so my question is ,is there a way to sort out the dvd pot any other way ,say with a multimeter.i had np's booting dvd's before this mistake only cd games wouldnt boot.any help would be much appreciated on this subject.
