DVD game ripping and the Magic 2

If I backup my game and it's and EA game do I need to install the EA patch?? Also will the Magic 2 boot the game automatically with nothing else like the GS??!! Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks guys:D :confused: :D

A ripped EA backup on a CD-R will require an EA patch be applied before burning the disc.

A 1-to-1 DVD to DVD-R backup requires nothing more than a modchip that can boot (either swap or direct) a DVD-R.
