Pioneer A04 Question

Hey I just bought a Pioneer A04 DVD Burner and I installed it. I installed all the software that came with it. Then I tried to back up one of my own games to see if it works. I extracted the files to my Harddrive and then tried to burn it. It gives me an error on a DVD-R and then I tried to burn other games multiple times on my DVD-RW Disc and it keeps on saying that my CD might have fingerprints or something wrong with the CD. I have no clue what to do now. I tried to burn 3 games so far and none work and give me the same error. The DVDs are brand new. Can anyone please help? Thanks alot. :(

Just use PrimoDVD or Nero to create an image, don't copy the files to HD, use image insted.

Pioneer released firmware v1.31 for A04 also.

Doesnt that come with the burner? If so I dont have it in my software disc...Also how do I create an image? Sorry, I'm kinda new with this stuff.

Okay...I got PrimoDVD and I tried to do everything I could from the PrimoDVD Tutorial in this forum and it gave me an error. Also I tried to burn a regular CD-R with PrimoDVD and it wont do it. I tried alot of things with this and it wont work. I am deperate! Are my connections right? I checked and I have it as a secondary master, where it should be. Please help! :( Thanks in advance. :(

BTW I'm trying to burn Metal Gear Solid 2. (Which I own)
