View Full Version : Memory Card Problems (PS2)
from the start-up browser the memory card icon is visible...if i select it, the game icons START to appear then suddenly vanish and the memory card icon is then visible...if i remember that i saved a game on this card it can be accessed and saved too, but no new saves can be added; also, i cannot transfer any save to this card or from this card. i know there is a coruppt save on the card as one of the first icon that starts to load is that evil blue cube. i have no idea what is saved on this card and any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

If you have an Xport or can get hold of one you may be able to rescue the saves on the card and then format it, the only other choice is to format it (you'll need a mega memory CD, the Xport or the EMS memory adapter to do this)
would you be kind enough to go into some detail as to the precedure?

This same thing has happened to me!! I was stupid enough to burn the newest version of ps2 reality media player v1.50 and saving it to my memory card. The file is corrupted, its the scary cube. I currently trying to figure out as to what to burn that will enable me to format the dam thing. I'm furious at those developers. Why be so against DMS3 technology?

Hmm, been searching the web for hours. Still can't figure out how to format my memory card. Burned action replay 2 but unfortunately it asks for the memory card that comes with it and I don't have that. Is there any way to format a memory card? Would gameshark2 require me to have the memory card that comes with it in the console in order to format? Is there a program out there that I can burn that will do the trick? I'm clueless as to what to do. If someone could give me a hint, or some good info, it would be greatly appreciated.
i still have found no answer....if you do.....let me know!!
