Recently I heard a lot about Ps2Mame. What is that?

I did some research. Does Ps2Mame mean a collection of old games which can be played in PS2? Thanks.

Mame is a Multi Arcade Machine Emulator. You can play old games like Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, and some recent ones. But PS2Mame can only play some of the old ones.
