Well isnt this fun... According to China-messiah, they now have support for the 39002 V-7s for Messiah. (Of course this is PAL) *Sigh* So the NTSC USA folks have to wait even longer... Hell, most of us are just waiting on the damn M1 to be released for all or our non V4 consoles... I think I need to move to Europe...

the reason why there taking so long is becuase there changfing the style of the mod to look different and there using new protection so they can stop, ppl hacking there chips and cloning them argh
another reason why they have held back is because the news chips coming are going to support v7 aswell as v1 and up
so maybe this time you will have the chip it will be relised this months some time

Adios,

In an effort to reduce manufacturing and component costs, Sony supposedly consolodated a few of the various ICs into a single IC chip. This of course meant a redesign of the motherboard to accommodate the newer (and fewer) components. This move also aided them in meeting Microsoft's price drop on the Xbox to stay competitive and yet still retain a decent profit margin on each unit sold.
Standard practice that we've all come to know and love since the PSX.
