Hello I'm new here. Very interesting place.
Hope I'm posting at the right place.
Just wanting to make sure. Trying to dig into the McEmu stuff.
I did find HD project v.1.081. But I'm uncertain. I got alot of stuff on my USB pendrive. What I can see is that you can at minimum create 8mb VMC space. Not sure if I can do that without losing anything already on the pendrive.
Oh and I would be happy if someone could look at the attached files if they are of any use. They are supposed to be McEMu but I just get blank screens maybe I'm doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.

Well thanks for pointing me to the tutorial I have already seen it and it doesn't answer my questions.

what is your question? all I see are random thoughts in the initial post.

The quality of answers depends of the quality of questions. Or lack there of.

Ok here is the questions:
1. Which is the best McEMU?
2. Is it this HD project v.1.081?
3. Can you make a part of your pendrive into VMC without losing rest of your data on that pendrive?
4. Did you check my attached files? Are those valid McEmus. If so how to make them work?

1)2
2)Yes
3)You wont loose anything
4)McEmu - didn't check the program but the archive contains a program and the source of that program
mcemul usb - again source of the program but little different

This is a valid 8mb card(just extract it and from the program point it)

Thanks vsub and dzienkuje Berion.
Just want to make sure I don't do anything wrong. Should I take HD project v.1.081 and point it to those two files you gave me vsub? What does the mci file do? If I would have tried to make the VMC would it be those files that would have been created on the pendrive?
Just last question since I'm a little of a file collector.
The McEmu when launched it gives a grey screen and when mcemul usb is launched it just gets black.
Do these files work at all, should you ad something to make them work or are they just useless? Don't want to discard them if they work.

Hello I'm back.
Well Berion I have looked at your site and it was interesting.
What just struck me is that you probably can only use these emus with original discs. Since my laser is screwed up the emus are probably useless (I use usb advance now).
I didn't get your mcsio to work just a grey screen when ELF is launched.
For the radshell...are you supposed to have a keyboard for that to work?
Just got a black screen with a line of text and A ">" under and nothing that happens. Would be happy if you could enlighten me.

The mcemu work this way:
1.Original or backup games played using your laser and in that way the mc emu may use you usb device or your hdd if you have fat PS2 and network adapter
2.Only if you have fat PS2 and HDD and in that way the emu can use your USB device.

If you have slim and play games only from USB(because of damaged laser)then this program isn't for you because you don't have anywhere else to save.

On slim you can save using this emu ONLY if you play your games using your laser(someone correct me if I'm wrong since I don't have slim and I don't care much about what I can/can't do on it)

I got FAT ps2 and I'm actually searching for a network adapter.
But is it possible to use the MC emu when playing a game from a usbpendrive?

No.This is the way how this emu work.

1.If you play from usb you can save on fat ps2 hdd(requires network adapter)
2.If you play from fat ps2 hdd(requires network adapter) you can save on usb device
3.If you play using your laser you can save using usb device or fat ps2 hdd(requires network adapter)

It's needed for write and choose your scripts. If You heavn't compatible keyboard, You must merge "mcsio script" with radshell.rsh (it will run automatically). Look at cdrinfo forum. You are not first who ask about this. ;]

Paste or attach your radshell.rsh and your game script.

Slims have integrated NA. He also could launch this emu via ps2link (this is much comfortable than kb+radshell).

Well I don't have slim nor use my network adapter to connect it to my pc so I don't know about that.

Since I have 64mb card I don't have any use of this emu. When I want to backup my saves I back them up to my PS2 hdd,my flash drive or on my PC.On the card I have more than 90 saves but and have 40mb free space
