Hello guys. *PMSX* as we know it was buggy and dead already before see the light, just a choppy fMSX port without any support to MC/CD or pendrive at all.. some days ago was released the 0.7 version of the great, multiplatform *openMSX* emulator. Why not try to port it? I don't have 'right skills di handle that off and maybe I understimating the problems implied - but I would very much appreciate, and I'm not the only one, an attempt in this direction :-) Come on Devs, MSX enthusiasts, filantropist.. our beloved PS2 deserve this great piece of software..

Maybe those interested could ask to the PSPMSX's author about the possibility to make a PS2 one.

Oh, I just wanted to post about that port. I tried it, and it's already pretty good. Some more display options would be nice (limitation of the SDK?). It does support savestates (didn't test that feature yet though).

Just checked the savestates function in fMSX and they work fine - they even support screenshots of the saved image!
I could not find a way to get the virtual keyboard to display the "" sign though - which ment I could not use: RUN"CAS:" Will try a USB keyboard soon.
If only ps2vice for the Commodore 64 had the savestate function - or indeed a ZX Spectrum emulator of any description for that matter........
