If you are using usb advance
Gameplay is good
Cutscenes,movies, and some audio lags

Issues
Not very high compatability

Good rule to follow Grin.
If a game has a lot of movies and audio in them and you try to run them throu HDA..
Your more then likely going to run into lag issues..

Why HDA ?
HDA == HDAdvance == HDLoader rip-off and works with the internal IDE HDD only.
It has nothing to do with the USB-based game loaders USBAdvance == USBExtreme.

It is the USB game loaders that give lag issues

Not the gameplay as such, but the media playing (cutscenes, movies, etc) will lag due to limited transfer bandwidth of the (sub-standard) USB 1.1 interface of the PS2. The lag will be especially bad on some old USB drives too, since some of them have a very low transfer rate anyway.

With some games it hardly matters at all (eg: Nippon Ichi RPGs) while other games are made worthless by it, since they rely very much on the playability of movie scenes.
