i have heard that there is a beta version of Clone DVD out there somewhere does anybody know where i can get it

I contacted the guys at Elby a few months back about this, and they scrapped that project about a year ago. They considered it when the DVD 1.0 authoring spec first came out (3.95 GB), but then scrapped it when all the other spec's started cropping up. If they ever finally agree on a universal DVD recordable spec (nigh impossible if you've read up on them), they may attempt it, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

IMHO, right now the best DVD-R duping software is the Prassi Primo or the Veritas rehashing of it called RecordNow. A few sights have Prassi as a free download, and you can update the engine by getting the PxEngine from Veritas's website.
