It just give a blue screen at the begining of the installation into MC. The memory card the is Sony 8Mb official one.

It is working fine with the 1.1.

Fix: I finally find out what happen: I connect the PS2 to the Onkyo receiver then to the TV. For whatever reason, when the PS2 output line character to the screen, the Onkyo receiver can not handle it and just display blue screen. After bypassing the Onkyo receiver with direct connection between the PS2 and the TV, McBoot 1.2c worked!

Yes I did, but it still gave a blue screen. Can you give me a step by step on your 1.2c installation?

Thanks

First of all:

1.install version 1.1
2.updated to 1.2b
3.and last step.

Format your card with action replay daxtel.

Once that done boot another independent memory exploit.

active version 1.2c elf updated

Done.

Now you have mcboot on the latest version...

Your instruction does not make any sense, if you are going to format your memory card, why did you install 1.1 and 1.2b?

When I tried to install 1.2c, it just gave me a blue screen with and without formating the memory card.

Did you try to redownload your ELF?
Maybe it is corrupted.

Maybe it is corrupted.

I got 1.2, 1.2b and 1.2c from different places and all result the same, so I doubt corruption is the problem. Right now I just manually copied the latest RUNME and uLaunch into the MC.

When I installed 1.1b, MCID-NTSC.ELF also gave me a blue screen, but I just press X and O blindfold and it did created the MCID and worked.

Network server is also not working.

One thing I should mention about the PS2:

runme.elf is not RUNME.ELF.

PS2 is similar to POSIX (Unix like) and because of that it's case SeNsItIvE. :)

MC Boot 1.2c works now after I bypassing the receiver between the PS2 and the TV.:D
