v1.2 dose not seem to be working

I have used previous versions without any problem but today I desided to give version 1.2 a try.

So I eraced the old version off my card booted up ulaunchelf useing a memento transfered FREE_MCBOOT.ELF over to my flash drive removed my memento and pluged in the regular memory card I used before and the program will not install.

and it freezes there tryed with version 4 and 7 consoles with same resolt

If there is something I am missing please do tell. I

if not would it be possiple to get the new program with the old install methade?



edit:it seems to be a known issue. But the bug seems to be in the new installer so as a temporary fix inclueing the new version with the old installer would make people happy till the issue it sorted out

Peppers, are you by any chance using NTSC consoles?

I just tried my V16 NTSC with a Sony 8MB card, freezes on installing too.

What MC did you get it to install on peppers?

same problem here, im using v7 NTSC console.. with blue official sony 8 mb memory card just formated with mckiller

yes after reading around it seems this issuie is a problem with some NTSC consoles. the v4 and 7 NTSC is included with the issued consoles.

I think what I said in my first post edit would be a good thing I would like it.

Normallally I would read around before starting a thread but I did not this time.


Edit: Terns out the old installer can be used with the new RUNME.ELF

If someone who has it working would copy that file out of there memory card for me that would be nice so us NTSC users get to use it.

Well, you can use 1.1 install process and then replace the old RUNME.ELF with the new one. USB compatibility, cdvd fix, some launching issues were all adressed in the RUNME.ELF.

Hey guys, if your having problems with 1.2, just use 1.1 and the mcloader quickfix. should take care of most issues.

You need to formar the memory card before to install, use the option on the elf aplication, try the 1.2c.

I tryed on V3 an V15 ntsc and works fine.

If you not format the memory card before, the installation fails.
