Hi,
i have a messiah in my v3 ps2. if i have burned an image which
i have created with CDGenps2, i only see the Playstation2
bootlogo animation for nearly 1 second at boot time.
After that the CD boots fine, do i have to patch the image in a
special way?

Nah, i don't want to edit the bootlogo. I know how to do that.
My problem is that the animation of the normal Playstation2 logo
will be played very fast (2 or 3 times faster then the normal
animation of original games), perhaps i have forgotten a switch
in CDDVDGen or CDGenPS2 or something...

hmm...weird...because normal copies of dvd or cd games behave
like originals...only selfmade isos have this problem...

The messiah does what u don't want.... my ps2 v6 with messiah done the same thing with iso burn under nero for example (veryfast playstation2 logo display : messsiah try to bypass some info that are not formatted like the ps2 would have...)
But, one day i rip gta with the use of cdgen (for non-mod user) and i was surprise to see that the logo staymore longer.
In conclusion, if u want the logo more longer, create an iso with cdgen :)

heh.. um.. for the boot logo that flies by... are these dvd-rips you are loading to play? :)
i think that it is because of dvd-rips....
i dunno... im dumb..

no...its not an effect of dvdrips...any selfmade bootable cd
mastered with cdgen will behave like that...well it's not so
important...the cds must boot and run ;)

i'm using a v3 PS2 with a messiah installed...
you're right...if you have a closer look on the bootanimation you
will see that the blured logo is still a playstation2 logo only the
final logo is different...

Same effect with V5.
I use Easy CD creator and CDRWin, both still do it.
But why do you care how long the logo is there? The quicker the better I would have thought.
