Attempts to access gameshark.com and interact-acc.com now redirect you to an untitled page with a simple message: 404
By the looks of it the sites are either temporarily down, under reconstruction or have been totally removed due to Datels split from Interact...

the boards.gameshark.com boards wont even open for me, damn i had about 7 PMS not checked, think its been totally removed

The site is dead, and so is "InterAct"
IGN is going to start redirecting traffic to THEIR site now that GameShark is no more.

From what i read it seems datel wernt happy about how things were going so they took over. codes can be found at WWW.CODEJUNKIES.COM , skip the intro then choose CodeJunkies UK or CodeJunkies US

So now if Gameshark is completely gone will there be any attempts to make codes for new games that come out? I'm specifically looking for codes for "The Sims". Hopefully someone out there will still be making some codes or else we'll all have to switch to Code Breaker.

Most, if not all of the Gameshark code creators moved over to the GameShark's creators, Datel. Get your new codes from Codejunkies (www.codejunkies.com)

@ The Guy who still plays duckhunt.
Cut the magnifier off the end on the gun then when you shoot you cant miss (it hits the whole screen!!).
My destructive behaviour now becomes apparent! :P

Interact were purely a middle man, Datel manufactor the Action Relay, Interact simply branded it GameShark and sold it in the US.
Datel are now distributing their products in the US themselves under the original product name, hence no more GameShark :)

so if they are putting it under Action Relay will those codes work with my gameshark also?
InterAct was destined to fail... They hid behind their only successful product, and when it was taken away, they folded.

 I don't know if i have the spelling correct but InterAct is basicly Datec now (the people that make Action Replay) I seen one of Datec's PS2 keyboards and it's 100% exactly like a SharkBoard and most of the Action Replay codes are exactly like the gameshark codes

Datel are not Interact.
Interact distributed Datel's product in the US under the GameShark brand name, Datel have now decided to distibute their product in the US on their own and using it's original brand name (Action Replay, SharkPort etc)
However, to make matters more interesting Mad Catz has purchased the GameShark brand name and website..
more info at the Mad Catz website (http://www.madcatz.com/MadCatz/home.jsp)

Anyway, It appears that the GameShark will return, only powered by Xploder/Codebreaker technology...

Madcatz will use the Xploder engine for its new Gameshark system, it looks like Blaze have dropped Pelican if favour of Madcatz, i bet Pelican are none too pleased at all.

Well the Gameshark website is back up, message board too but there's no new info on the main site. They still have articles by Wooly Doug and FNG who obviously no longer work for Interact or under the Gameshark banner, looks like someone decided it was better to have something up regardless of content than a dead website...
