i can't see other threads in this section

when i go into this section i can only see the sticky thread, but in the list it says there are 43 threads here.
i can also see a thread in here if i get a link to it or find it with the search.
what's going on?

Go to your user control panel, via the link near the top of the page saying "User CP". Once there, use the command "Edit Options" and see if you have some unsuitable settings (perhaps as a result of the site move and/or software updates). One possible cause for the symptoms you describe is if you have a short limit for visible thread ages. If so I suggest that you change it to "Show all threads" instead.
