When we got Nintendo DS, the wifi would only work with WEP SHARED key, not OPEN. So now we find out PSP doesn't support SHARED KEY and neither does PS3?! Geeeeeez

Just switch to WPA, widely regarded to be superior anyway.

Why use WEP? its so easy to hack a wep network.. takes like 5 minutes and any one can do it..

DS doesn't support WPA. It would be nice to have a solution that'll work for all systems.

My PS3 won't handle either. Only way it works it to completely turn off security. Quality job by Sony. PSP works fine though.

You could always turn off encryption and use MAC address filtering.

My PS3, DS, and Wii all work fine with my WEP key.
