All I can say is, RTFM. (read the f***ing manual) If you can't figure it out from that, I feel sorry for you.

Its on the controller, or on the PS3 system in the right,

The button on the controller only lets me shut down the system. Same with the button next to eject. The manual doesn't mention anything about a reset button.

There isn't a reset button, all you go is hold down the PS button on the controller and go quit game and then eject the disc, it's really not that hard and I really don't see much use in a reset button.
Why would you need a reset button anyway?

Ahh thanks Lachlan...finally an answer that makes sense. I simply wanted a quick way to go from GameOS to Linux. I guess I have to stick with controller power down/power on. Going from Linux to GameOS is easy since the "boot-game-os" command will reboot the system and into the regular ps3 menu.

Personally Using a reset button is indeed better for the system then it would be to cut off power all together, you should know this. Common Computer Sence.

You don't cut off the power all together, holding down the power button on the PS3 it shuts down as it takes about 2-4 seconds to get to standby, it's not like pulling the plug.
