well for now ps3 is complex machine so thats why ps3 is hard to program but in the future hmm i cant think of it.. but its too early too speculate maybe sony has something to with it

Yeh those are some good post and honest post no fanboy post just the truth rather some of us want to hear it or not. Like i said many times i want ps3 to be top dog this time but i don't think it's going to happen unless they can get back all those excluvies they let slip through their fingers to micorsoft and come with a top notch online servis to compete with xbox live and works closely with game developers to help make programing for ps3 less of a headache. Also when it comes to gpu i do feel the ati chip is way head of the ps3's RSX its a 2 year old chip a watered down 7800gtx. Gametrailers.com and 1up.com has been posting the e3 2006 footage and the real footage of Motorstrom is so differnt from night and day the one they showed at e3 looked like Gears of war and the real one looks like a ps2 version of smugglers run. I think sony bit off more then they chew reason being the overhyped the system with e3 footage that was done by pc and not by console and people was expecting the games to look like the e3 counter parts of the game and intruth they don't they look no were near as good as the fake e3 footage. I know alot of you guys including myself like sony and been with the playstation brand but im let down honestly i was expecting a little better then 360 then now that all cards are on the table we find out that we done had better the 360 im not fanboy of ether console but of games and the ps3 as gaming as not lived up to its hype and any one who listend to sony when sony said Don't buy a 360 ps3 is nexgen i feel bad for you that you was lied too im sure the hell am glad the games speak to me not the console caused i would had missed a whole year of great gaming on 360 and pc.

all i can say is. Remember the early ps2 games? like "No one lives forever"? remember they need to learn how to make the games better. i am sure you know what i mean correct?

Contrary to what sony is/was thinking one thing hasn't changed, software is what makes a game console, and they should be the ones most aware of this, since both the PS1 and PS2 were the weakest consoles in each race. If sony give me a library like that of either the earlier playstations I would buy whatever it is I have to buy to play them. Unlike women I don't really care how a game looks as long as it's fun.

from what i think sony always gamble their products. they combined advance technology even it is hard to programmed, but sony thinks it may come handy in the near future
XBOX360 they didnt take risk making their consoles infact they did advantage cause they know 8 processor are hard to be programmed...
