Mac on Linux with PS3!

There you have it!
For all of you who were wondering if it could be done, IT IS!.

Mac on Linux or "MOL" is an application that lets you run MacOS under Linux.

Therefore, in theory, it is possible tu run MacOS under the PS3 via Linux,
since the PS3 has the PPC arquitechture. Similar to VMWare, but with it's
variants. It hasn't been tried on PS3, but it could be possible nevertheless.

why couldnt you just install the old PPC version of OSX on it rather than emulating it. if its a powerPC processor i dont see why it wouldn't install.
i mean i'm running the hacked intel OSX on my PC right now....i guess we might have to wait for someone to hack the install to install properly on the ps3 tho

The main problem with MacOS X on PS3 is to make it take advantage of more than one processor, I have a feeling...

The "otherOS" installer is tailored to rn something that is decigne dto install liu. it will take a bit of hackingot produce a kboot file for any PC naive macos. that said it's probbly theoretically possible wit h a bit of hacking.
