Can't play DVD on PSTwo

Hi all, I have modded (not sure which one since it doesnt show any logo when i boot the machine) PSTwo scph 75006. And I can't play any DVD at all ... Do you guys have any idea what might have caused it ? I feel kinda ripped off y'know. :banghead:

do DVD games work ?
if so then you probably have a messiah based chip ,
what means that you have to switch to DVD mode ,
mostly resetting your pstwo 2 times by start

resetting 2 times didn't work, but you gave me the idea to hold the reset longer (for about 2 secs) and it worked haha! thanks mabcom for giving me the idea!! I never thought to trick the reset button XD THANKS A BUNCH, MATE!

Ok, my friends has this problem. try pushing the laster over closer to the spinny part (ie. left and right. all the way left so it is closer to the spindleish part) Do not Touch the Laser. That works with his pstwo. If you get tired of holding the reset, you can try this.

Yup.. press& hold reset button until blue light comes out on eject button before releasing the reset button. this gets you into DVD / PS1 mode.
