View Full Version : Need help with HDLoader button.tga
I have made new buttons for HDLoader and have rounded the corners off but for some reason when I patch them into HDLoader I get a white shadow in the shape of the old buttons,I have tried searching the forums and gone through every post the search returned and about 20 pages of the HDLoader patch thread but with 90 odd pages it seemed like a never ending task.
So can someone tell me how to fix this please?

I think from programming myself in simple languages no matter what thoes white shadows will appear because of the way hd loader is suppose to load the images behind the text in a rectangle display so the only way i think u can fix them is to take the button that you made and make the white shadow (behind the rounded edges) the same colour as the background that you are using that way it would fill in the spaces.
if you dont get what im saying ask me again and ill try to explane and maybe i havent even answered ur question at all so ask again lol
lol I get what your saying,so basically I can't have rounded buttons unless I use a white background or do some real complicated stuff to sort it out.
I just thought there might be a way to add a mask of some kind because the original HDLoader buttons have the top left and bottom right corner chopped off,but then again it was programmed that way in the 1st place.
Oh well,it's a shame because my rounded buttons looked sweet but I can live without them :)

If you make your round iamges square with the corners being the same colour as the background you are using in that area. (Aka if you had a clean black background make the sharp parts of the corers black and they'll dissapear) then It'll work..
