I don't know if anyone else is interested in playing this game, but I can't seem to get this game to run on this emulator, nor the IMBNES Emu. as well.

I know it's far from being a finished product but if they can get this game to run properly I would be very grateful.

Thanks

First of all, make sure it's a good image. A *lot* of NES images were corrupted by a once-popular program called NESImage (it put the author's name in "unused" header bytes, one of which is actually used by modern emulators to specify the memory mapper) and many of these are still floating around on the Internet, along with good old-fashioned mis-dumps.

Even if it runs, though, don't be surpised if the video emulation has a rather annoying problem. Even some good NES emus have trouble with something Crystalis does to the display when it's showing the dialogue box, causing the display to "jitter" (this probably has something to do with interlaced vs. progressive display, so maybe it wouldn't happen on an actual TV output). As an alternative I guess you could try the GBC port of Crystalis, although that obviously has its drawbacks...

I'm running "Crystalis" right now, on the InfoNES version I released recently (Rev3). There are some serious display problems, just like Ex-Cyber said, but the game does run. If yours doesn't, then I guess your ROM file must be damaged.

crystalis uses mapper 4 so until there is an improvment to this mapper dont expect the game to work as it should.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll just be patient untill they make improvements to the emulator.
I still remember buying this game when I was 13 for a hundred bucks
It's still today one of my all time favorite games.
