Any Further Evolution?

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody knows whether there is any further development occurring with the Neopop emu?

I just downloaded it today and gave it a shot with a few roms and must say that I am quite pleasantly surprised by the results.

The GUI is quite nice and I haven't managed to find any bugs with it (yet) and all the roms I downloaded play fine, albeit slowly.

Anybody working on improving the speed issue or is it a dead end project?

I don't know, but the author probably has other priorities. Back then, Evilo worked on the Neo-Geo CD emulator, and the he picked up PGen I think. It would be cool to see an improved Emu, but maybe he lost interest.

yeah, I still have an unfinished version laying on my harddisk with some enhancement.... but as you said I have "tons" (ok I'm exagerating a little bit) of opened projects, and I just change the priorities of them depending of my mood/feeling :)

so, I'll try to post soon an updated version, to fix current issues... but no guarantee on it :) at a certain time, I've also been contacted by the original authors to help enhancing the ps2 port, but it seems that he lost interest..

in the mean time, I just setup a neopop page on my blog (with download) :
