Hi, I tried to make an ISO file of uLaunchELF that allow me to boot it using HDLoader but when I run the ISO inside HDL all I got is a black screen. I also searched for the answer in this forum but couldn't find anything. I'm just wondering if anyone here know how to boot it like that or what file I have to include with the uLaunchELF 3.50 in order to make it work (SYSTEM.CNF already together with uLaunch). I really appreciate it for your help.

There is no known way of starting LaunchELF from HDL with full functionality. It can be started, but not with fully functional device drivers...!!! :(
This is a direct consequence of how HDLoader works, since one of its primary functions is to interfere with device drivers used by games. That is, after all, how it accomplishes the CDVD emulation on HDD.
Perhaps we may eventually solve this, by designing code to enforce a full reset of both IOP and EE at startup, despite the tricky actions of HDL. But that will not happen anytime soon, as we still don't know a safe way of doing it.
Besides, even if we could do it now, I'd be hesitant about publishing such code. After all, we have to assume that game developers also follow what we do here, and they'd be very happy to find a way of making their games immune to HDL actions. (Some already developed their own methods for it.)

I use this from HDLoader's pressed disk when I am dealing with chips that need updating, as dlanor says dont rely on it to work right (HDD and NET stuff, and probably even CD/DVD access wont work right) but its OK to launch a few things like chip updates or homebrew that does not use the Dev9 (HDD/PSNET) stuff (from memory card or USB key I'd think).
You should be able to see easily enough from it what files you need if you want to update the uL in it to 3.50.
note: I padded this one to run better from CD-RW media and this was burn tested to work before I put it into HDLoader, kill the dummy file if you dont intend to ever put it on a disk, or make a bigger dummy/pad file if you intend to use it from DVD media
Maybe I'm missing something, but... why not just boot to uLaunchELF? Set the timeout to 0 and HDLoader as default. That way if you need uLaunchELF, just hold select as the screen flashes white, else HDL will boot immediately. This is the way I've always done it-adds maybe 3 seconds to total boot time.

I've done that also with uLaunchElf 0.41. It's a handy way to install the PS1 exploit for the users of HDAdvance - you copy with LaunchElf from the pseudo-CD game to the memory card.
But it must be used one time only, to feed your memory card. After that, you must launch LaunchElf from the memory card !
