It may have already been done, but i got the root directory in my iPod nano to show up when i selected the mass directory after i had unplugged my flash drive, i just replaced it with the iPod sync cable, when my ipod was in disk mode. so i opened up the ipod_control folder. then the music folder, then those folders contain all of your MP3's. but they are coded with different names. they dont show the names of the music so its hard to know what your going to play unless you feel around a little bit. maybe the author can resolve this *****hint hint***** ******plz********* ******it would be incredible to have your entire iTunes library on hand at your PS2 without loading all of those songs onto your HD...******
lol someone else try it and maybe suggest a few ideas or something on how we could get the names to display. ther'es potential in this!
EDIT: when you select a song wich will look something like "BGZD" wich is "Unloco - Texas" on my Ipod, give MYPS2 a second to process it it doesnt play right away. takes like 5-6 seconds, but it does work.
EDIT: It has been confirmed that you ipod does NOT need to be in disk mode. i appologize for the mix up. there may be some swapping involved to get myps2 to open your ipods root directory. if you have one try pluggin in your flash drive and make sure you can open it normaly like it should. then while in the my music section of my ps2, pull out your usb flash frive, and replace it with your ipod connected and turned on. it should display the do not disconnect symbol on your ipod. and you can browse the files on your ipod if you select MASS: from the menu. i can confirm this is does work. i'll take pictures if i have too. but you all should try it its pretty sweet. it also doubles as a very large flash drive for transfering data back and forth. my only problem is i have amodchip. the DMS4 pro with Toxic OS 0.41. and for the life of me i cant get the iPod to show up like it will with my PS2. i used some random USB driver with toxic OS though. maybe thats what it is, because MyPS2 v1.2 comes with the driver all set up. so maybe they are different. who knows.
EDIT: i succecfully launched MyPS2 frommy iPod nano. its been tested. it works. all other elf's launch succesfully as well. MyPS2 v1.2 loads perfectly.
