I'm trying to run snes station from myps2 via the instructions here (http://www.ps2-scene.org/forums/showthread.php?t=40728&highlight=snes) I can get the program running but I can't get the CDX cd to read. When I press X after changing the cd nothing happens. Is there something I am missing, or is this just impossible to do?
I got it to read the CD but appearently it thinks there is nothing on it now.No ROMS or Directories found on CD?

Are you swapping in your cdr from a cd ps2 game or psx game?

psx game, the one I use to boot the memory card exploit
do the instructions work if you use launchelf and mcloader
mcloader is essential for this to work

I followed the guide and launched it from mcloader, but it still acts like the disk is empty

That shouldn't happen. What method are you using for swapping?

im not swapping...im just pressing select and changing the disk when the try opens. I can't get pgen to read roms off the pendrive either, and I have managed to screw up my pfs folder in myPS2 it wont let me edit any files. I feel like a moron today.

MCLoader is not essential, you can get it to run both from KL and from Launchelf, haven't tried from MyPS2 yet, I know there can be issues with running some elf's from MyPS2.
mcloader allows snes-station to read the cdx disc without any swap trick
you can run snes station sure
but you arent going to be able to read your roms

Works for me from Launchelf and KL, with swap tool. So I can either waste space iwth another elf, or make a swap tool. It's not that hard to make. MCLoader isn't anything special. PS2Reality team I'm starting to not like. Reality media player pro blows comared to SMS, and MCLoader blows compared to Launchelf. They should actually try to excel at what theyre doing, make something unique, or give up.
