Plz Help!! Booting from DVD

I'm brazilian , sorry for the english errors! :p

I'm booting MyPS2 from DVD , but it freezes when "Initialising Gamepads" appear.

Anybody know what's happening ?

but - i have read a lot about myps2
and you are the first with this problem
have you tested to boot from a cd ?
mc ? or usb-stick ?
which configuration do you have ?
