dms 4 pro, toxic os .41, no screen first few tries

so after flashing my chip all is going well, but after the ps2 is off for a while, the first 3 or so boot tries i get no video output,
then when i do, it keeps working after reboots, till it is off for an hour or so then same prob, any ideas?
its a v4 gap bios

I'm having the exact same problem. I have a v9.

huh, yeah, i swapped ps2s with a buddy and reinstalled on a v5, exact same issue, so i dunno

the flashing code was re-written to work faster then before, perhaps this is causing problems with timing.

however it works fine on my ps2. people who report 0.41 working, does 0.4 work fine?

The problem is there even before flashing. I am getting quite a few with black or blue screen at boot.Swap chips and all is fine...

This is not a "new" problem for the DMS chips.
