usb network adapter

would I be able to run the ps2net through a usb network adapter. I have a Japanese ps2, whcih doesn't support the American network adapter, so I was hoping I would be able to network it through a usb to ethernet adapter. I want to know if ulaunchelf's ftp server will support this. THanks devs.

those really old PS2's arent even supported or so i hear... i only know of one game that ever made use of a USB network adapter, but have never heard of something like this in uLaunchELF...

I know that all the non-dnas games could use the usb network adapter, so since ulaunchelf is non-dnas i was hoping it might work the same way.
