Hi mates, i'm new to SMS. I tried to read movies from my hard drive, it's a 6.4 Go seagate NTFS formatted, i put my videos and mp3s on this NTFS partition. SMS launched works great but won't recognize the hard drive.
So i'm wondering what kind of partitions are SMS compatible, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, or only hdloader partition? Or is just my hard drive that is not compatible? THANKS.

I'm guessing the problem is in the Filesystem.
Try using D M S Format Tool (http://www.dms3.com/dms3/files/chips/DMS3_Tools/dms-hdd-format-1_1.zip) to create the partitions or PVS Explorer (http://explorer.egama.eti.br/) is u prefer. I prefer the Format Tool ;)

Use Winhiip or hdloader or dms format tool to format your drive correctly.

I forgot to say Happy new year :) , done.
Skidude2121, you sais i could format with winhiip, but it will create a Hdloader partition. Are Hdloader and PS2 partitions the same ?
On ething more, i'm using a IDE HDD so i will transfer the videos from PC to HD directly, is PS2PFSExplorer the only tool that can perform this (it's in portuguese :/ and beta) or is there another tool? Thanks.

That's the only available tool atm... and has some bad issues.
Personally I use the uLaunchElf to copy the movies over network IF I want them in the HDD, but I prefer the USB Drive or the DVD's, they are easier to use ;)

You use winhiip to format the drive, then put movies in common partitions created with dms format tool or pfs explorer
