...I was putting together an SNES emu CD, but it went over 700mb (~890MB), so I decided to just throw on the Sega Genesis emulator and some ROMS, as well as the Atari 2600 emulator, Quake for PS2, and maybe ScummVM and a few games just to fill out the DVD since with Sega+SNES it'd probably still be under 2GB...

However, uLaunchELF refuses to recognize the DVD when I put it in, and I can't just load up the disc; since I intended to pick which ELF I wanted using LaunchELF, I just threw each program/emu into a seperate folder with its respective ELF in there... it's not in bootable format or anything.

Are there any PS2 loaders that will recognize DVDs? Why doesn't uLaunchELF recognize DVDs if it recognizes CDs?

How did you try to burn it and what boot method are you using?

I used to have trouble getting my ps2 to recognize DVD's when using the swap method but I read on another forum that by using nero you can get the ps2 to recognize them (at least they do for me). You can try this...

1) Launch Nero
2) Select to make a UDF/ISO DVD
3) When in the file browser select disc properties and under the UDF tab set the type to 'physical' and the version to 'UDF 1.02'.
4) throw your files onto the dvd and burn away! :)

I hope this helps you
