Its out and updated, this time as quoted from home page:


I have added support for shoutcast in this version so you can now use
myPS2 to listen to internet radio streams. It will automatically download
and display a list of available radio stations from shoutcast.

You can also import your bookmarks from Winamp. Let me know if there
are any problems.

Has anyone gotten shoutcast working. I always get the message "can not resolve hostname" or something like that when I try to download the list of stations.

Check your IP settings. Make sure your IP and subnet are the same as other PCs on your network (if your PC is 192.168.1.100 with subnet of 255.255.255.0, make sure the settings on your PS2 are 192.168.1.xxx with subnet 255.255.255.0). Also be sure to use the exact same DNS and gateway address as your PCs. I had to reboot after changing the settings, then it worked.

I did lock up a little when I was flipping through stations. Wait until a station is playing before you play another one.

uLaunchelf doesn't seem to like being launched from My Programs. The screen will come up but I am not able to do anything from there.

I've not gotten it to run by itself... I have to run PS2Net through uLaunch Elf and it will run fine then....... otherwise it has Shoutcast disabled

I'm using it since 0.3 and i'm really enjoying it.

I thought I'd give this app a try and so created a 250MB partition when it prompted. The partition is listed in LaunchELF as +myPS2 but its not listed anywhere in DMS HDD Format Tool v1.1 so how am I supposed to delete the partition as I don't have much need for myPS2 yet.

I think there should be only one custom partition named homebrew...
+Homebrew:/myPS2
+Homebrew:/ScummVM
+Homebrew:/PGEN

instead of:
+myPS2
+ScummVM
+PGEN

My PS20.5 seems to run Shoutcast only whenlaunched from USB or MC, Has anyone else noticed this? I checked the IP settings they look ok.

in "my programs" there is an "info" label regarding each elf to launch... How to fill it? :crazy:

Suggestion: what about an eye-candy launcher instead of select the ugly .elf file? :-pray: ;)

On my v9 console (with hdd) I get black screen immediately when running myps2 v0.5. Ditto for v7 (no network adapter.) Running both from memcard, via ulaunch.

Have I overlooked something?

Does the IP has to conain the 1 in 192.168.1.10 in there to work? Caus i have mines set on 192.168.0.10 ?:oops:
