cc v1.0 on GH-037-43 black screen after upgrade

Well, i got my first V14.

I've tryed to i install CC1.0 on it.

first installation the chip worked fine, upgraded to hacked v17, and then BLACK SCREEN.

trayed every thing, 3 reset (to reset hardware) and nothing. from desperation even trayed 4 reset, 6 reset. nothing, no response.

after a wile , i've replaced the chip and trayed over again.

again the same simptom, after upgrading (this time to v18 cracked) , the ps2 gives me again the BLACK SCREEN.

anyone knows anything of this problem?

Insert a memory card before loading the upgrade disc, install BM, then flash the chip.

Now the chip don't respond at all, and when tray to reset it by 3-resets sequence it's not responding.

do i need to (again) replace the chip or i by using a memory card with BM in it it will boot?

Weird, last time I had a problem flashing a Ver14 with a CC1.0, I inserted the memory card (with BM 17 on it) restarted the console and it loaded the firmware disc. Prior to this I too had a black screen. I don't know what else to suggest.

it did work after installing BM on memory card using another ps2. my mistake not reading about the bugs perior to installation.
