Crystal Chip Media Support

Hi ppl

Im about to install a crystal chip in the next couple of days in my v14 ps2, can anyone plz tell me if it supports dvd+r media? because in the web site only says dvd-r, dvd-rom .. bla bla .. except dvd+r.
Btw on what speed do u usually record ur backups? 2x or 4x? I have verbatim has anyone had problem with these on crystal chips?

Yes it does. Burn at 2x. Verbatim is great.

most of my +R verbatim full printables i have burnt 16x, all of them work :)

We can actually burn them at 16x and ps2 reads them ? :)

Well I burn my games on 8x DVD+R media, and my PS2 reads them just fine. So long as the media is decent, you should be fine.
