I purchased a v14 console the other day and decided to get a crystal chip what with the new compatibility firmware releases, but i open up my console and low and behold- a different motherboard than they have listed on their site! (type GH-040-52)

Does anyone have wiring diagrams for the crystal chip for this?? If no one's seen it, I took a few pictures, you can download them here. PICTURES TAKEN DOWN DUE TO BANDWIDTH HIT. CRYSTAL CHIP IS NOW WORKING ON THIS REVISION. :-pray: thanks for any help you can give me!

It is SCPH-75001, so that's why I'm a little confused.

That looks much different but its a little hard to tell from the pictures. Please post a better picture of the cdvd point ...... area 4 in this picture here.

Yeah I hope those square pads are used for the CD/DVD controller points. It would be alot easyer to solder than scratching away the coating on those through hole pads on the v14. I noticed the coating is alot thicker than the v12-13 pads and takes a little more effort to clean them up so they can be soldered to.
