Well, I have really wanted such a feature:

Since, I like so many HDL Skins, I have created lots of HDL 0.7c with different skins....I have all these in a folder in my PS2 HD, and in unLaunchELF's menu, I have selected all of them.......

Each time unLaunchELF starts, I press a random button, to launch a HDL with a random skin.....

To make all this easier, I want to suggest a small feature.... That u can select a directory on ure HD, and assign that folder a button....whenever that button is pressed, a random ELF from that folder is executed....

Better yet, u can assign this to the DEFAULT value.......

So, for example, unLaunchELF loads a random HDL from a folder having only HDL ELFs, each with a different skin, after lets say, 5 seconds from loading itself....

This way, u will have a multi-skinned HDL :p

I dont think this function wud be very difficult to implement (I have done a little bit of vb and c++ programming :p )

tell me wat u guys think of this :-pray:

overally, unLaunchELF is a greeeat ELF  , which has made life a lot easier

if you have experience with c++, why not download the launchelf sources and give it ago?

the hardest part is setting up the dependancies and getting the dev envionment set up. once youve done that, you should be sweet!

i think a better approach to your problem would be, rather than integrate this functionality into launchelf, but create a new program which does this. then you could just assign launchelf to this program.
