U mean at the browser screen?
If yes, you need to set your CLOCK and DATE to get them normal again.

that's just a hidding thing by SONY... it indicates how many save files you have in your MC...wierd

Nope ... The squares start flat and then get higher and higher with time... Actually it's a log of how many times and WHICH games you played on your PS2 with that memory card plugged in. It's saved in a file called "history" inside the "Your System Configuration" save. (BADATA_SYSTEM). The save file contains the history log, the title.db file from PS1 driver (settings for texture and disc speed for your PS1 games and actually the target of Mr. Brown exploit lol)
