I don't understand this prog. with ps2 reality media player you just put the files on the same disc, but there is no guide on how to make this work???

I know I am a noob but does this prog run from a memory card or hard drive or what? :cry: :cry:

Yes, it is possible to run SMS from HD or MC.

Make better questions so i can make better answers.

SMS can run from almost anywhere. I would recommend getting uLaunchELF loaded on your memory card first. uLaunchELF is a file manager that can make things a lot easier for you. Goto the uLanuchELF forum and download it.

You need to give more info on your PS2 system. Modded/unmodded? What other hardware do you have? Thumbdrives, USB HDDs?

and is it able to run from a USB mass storage??? how to do this??

I got i think v5 ps2 (most likely), with a magic 3 mod. no hdd. what the heck is a thumbdrive? - usb drive (i got one of them). also i am unsure of how to actually us ethis prog. like how do i load something to memcard and if possible can it just be run from the cd like ps2reality?

What about a Messiah 2 chipped console? Can I run SMS?

This is confusing. I haven't come here in a long time and things have changed A LOT.

I really should qualify that question. Is there a way of running SMS with a Messiah 2 and no ethernet adaptor?? Can it be run from disc, it seems not.

yes, you can run sms from a disc just like ps2reality media player.

however, dont use the CDEXPLORER program included if you want to do this. just use nero/whatever to create a iso format disc.

Would be nice to know how to put the sms thingy into the memory card, so you don't have to burn each time a special CD that will run on the PS2...
The console has a matrix infinity chip, no other accesories but a 8MB MC.
