Installed Infinity Now Nothing

I installed a new infinity chip in my VER 7 (mobo gh-019) ps2 and when powering up nothing happens. The tray will not open and if i hit the reset or the eject button the power light goes from red to green and the cooling fan comes on but thats it.

I removed the chip from the system and I still have the same problem now.
Any help?

is the eject button burning blue ? if not 99% it is your Bachip blown or the fuse near it,

I the eject button lights up normal then you have to search for solder splash or bridged points on your motherbord ,
