Hi all,
I have a V9 with matrix installed. I am happy with the chip as it boot flawlessly most of my backups except few latest games. Well im getting the red screen saying "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 disk format" (same as the other thread). The originals work just fine but to my surprise the backup booted straight to the red screen. I have no problem with this as long as the originals are working but im most surprise to found out that the backup worked just fine on my friends ps2 with an el-cheapo modchip. i thought matrix was so advanced that it could load just about anything furthermore the firmware upgrade facility was just fantastic and got itself defeated by a clone hk chip. what gives?? i've reported this to luke infinitymod and awaiting his response. fyi ive upgraded to 1.54 but still got the red screen. the games that gave me the problems are
1. Haunting Ground (PAL)
2. Pro Evo Soccer (PAL)
3. Ultimate Spidey (US)
4. The Suffering (US)
Anyone encountered the same problem?
regards
