View Full Version : Hangs on 'Loading from Memory Card' Screen

I'm attempting to load SMS (v1.4rev2) from the MC using KeyLauncher. After selecting the elf, it goes to the 'Loading from Memory Card' screen, but then it just hangs there. Am I missing something? I'm sure it's something simple that I've overlooked...

Nevermind,... just tried booting it with uLaunchELF and it works just fine. Damn KeyLauncher... :)

I need to have a CD/DVD in the Drive to be able to run Apps from launchelf, if I dont it will hang as you stated. This drove me mad enough when I dint knew it and Apps suddenly stopped working for no obvious reason. Im using a DMS4, other Modchips (or even other Versions of the firmware) might not have this flaw.

I farted around with SMS really quick, but was unable to get it to pickup the dvd-r that I had in the PS2 (the dvd-r contained a few avi's). I even tried putting the dvd-r in at the uLaunchELF screen, and then loading SMS - but it didn't work either. Oh well,... maybe when I get the chance, I try it again and see if I can figure it out.
