One more if you don't mind please....noticed that the V4 install has L1 at the trace cut....the V3 install that I got has L2 going to the trace cut.
I have a V3 and was wondering if the V4 install is correct or should I go by the V3 install picture and also leave F1 & F2 off as per above.
Thanks...

V4 install is correct. when i was out the factory made a mistake, but since thay fixed the diagrams this led to L1 moving place.
also, after lot of testing, it's safe to install the chip without cutting the track and without connecting L1.
u can connect only K,J,L1,5v,GND.
and it will work perfectly.
good day

So for a V3 and V4 I can install without L1 (no cut req then) K,J, 5v, Gnd

just installed the v3 fix using the v3 diagrames so i need to swap points l1 and l2 over be for modding it . so the v3 diagrames are wrong and you need to use the v4 diagrames for both chips.

NO.
You need to use V4 diagram for slimfix v4 and V3 diagram to slimfix v3.
that's all

When installing without cutting the track, the only wire (between L1 and L2) that has to be connected is the one close to the cuting position.
that's it.
