I'm trying to get an NES emulator to boot on the PS2. From what I hear, I have two options. PS2infoNES is included in the 7not6 christmas binaries and only includes the InfoNES.elf and no system.cfg file. I'm guessing this is the reason why it's not booting. And as for ItMightBeNES, I did everything they said, located all of my ROMs, and hit build ISO. It created the ISO and I used Nero to burn the .cue image and it didn't boot. I also burned the .iso image and that didn't boot either. I can't get a single NES emulator to even show something on screen.

It's hard to say what went wrong here, especially as you don't mention any details about your PS2. It could be simply that you don't have a 'chipped' PS2, since a modchip (or iffy disc swapping) is required to boot any CD-R or DVD-R discs.

If you can boot ANY CD-R discs, then you can also boot InfoNES, simply by adding a file named SYSTEM.CNF, and containing the following three text lines:

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\INFONES.ELF;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = NTSC

I have used this successfully myself, on a disc containing this SYSTEM.CNF file plus the INFONES.ELF file in the root directory together with a subfolder (named whatever you like, I called mine "RPG") containing your *.NES ROM files. Nothing else is needed.

Yeah, my PS2 is a v7 NTSC US chipped with a Magic 3.1+. Thank you for that system.cnf file, I may have to try that out tonight. (the PS2 isn't with me right now, it's at another house, so I can't try it right now)

Ok, it booted and said debug version 0.93 and it had <Press Start> flashing slowly at the bottom. When I press start, the screen goes white and it stays like that. Any help?

It is normal for the screen to flash white when you press 'Start', but it should not stay that way. It should only stay white while reading the MC directory, then it should allow you to browse the MC, or switch to browsing the CD (top entry).
