Im just wondering which direction I should turn the pot on the back of the laser head
you see I have had a laser diode burn out on me after only 20 hours of play
(the coils were fine thanks to subzero fix)
i want to try and prevent it from happening when I get my replacement

Danny

u shud use a multimeter to do it
Just give it a fraction of a turn and the multimeter will tell you which way you have adjusted it
Doing it without using a multimeter is riskey as you have no idea on the original value, nor do you know how much you are actually adjusting it

I know quite a bit about electronics (as im sure most people here do) and after taking a look at the laser head pots I can see that increasing resistance would be turning anti-clockwise and increasing clockwise!
but do I increase or decrease?
that was my question

the more resistance, the less current to laser diode so increase resistance
