Question about PS1, v5 and Matrix Infinity

Hi!

A customer of mine want to play old RPGs like XENOGEARS, CHRONO TRIGGER etc etc, thats why ps1 is very important for him.

Question: this is a PAL V5 machine.
I see Matrix state that ps1 anti mod games only work with v9,v10,v12.

Will
1) NTSC ORGINALS PS1 GAMES work on this PAL machine with chip on?
2) NTSC backup PS1 games work?

Yes, because the Matrix Infinity has PAL to NTSC conversion and vice versa. Anti-mod PS1 games are pretty rare like Spyro 2 or something like that. You can still play PS1 games that does not have anti-mod codes.
