Fan cable color

I need to know this !!!
What color goes where... got a v5 that fan cable
snapped off from connector and i cant se colors.

(yes.. you need to use some kind of imagination to understand this)

Ps2 from top and controller flex connection near to you.

fan connector
o <--- Grey
o <--- Black

or ?

I think grey was on top.

u could just try it both ways round, or put a mutlimeter on the points

the grey is prolly live

it will only work with the voltage 1 way round

still connector looks broken... dont want to direct solder cable to mobo, what is best solition ?
